Most managers know roughly where they stand. Far fewer could prove it on the day.
A complete, sector-specific CQC readiness system — a 42-point checklist, a plain-English guide for every single item, and the ready-to-use templates that evidence them.
Built from 15+ years on the front line of UK health & social care.

The problem isn’t knowing you have gaps. It’s having the evidence ready.
Here’s the kind of question an inspector actually asks. Answer honestly — most services find several ambers and at least one red.
One connected system, not a folder of unrelated templates.
Every checklist item carries a reference ID. That same ID appears on its guide and on the template that evidences it — so you’re never left wondering what to do next.
What you need
42 checks across all five CQC key questions, written for your service type. RAG-rate each one directly in the fillable PDF.
How to achieve it
For every item: what it is, why CQC wants it, what good looks like, and exactly how to put it in place.
The document itself
The actual record that evidences it — fillable PDF and Excel, with a worked example showing a strong entry.
Built separately for each service type — because they’re regulated differently.
Supported living and care homes have different registration activities, different legal duties and different risks. All three options are below.
Supported Living CQC Toolkit
Built around what actually makes supported living different — care and housing separation, tenancy rights, the Court of Protection route, and ‘Right support, right care, right culture’. Not a residential checklist with the label swapped.

“I built the toolkit I wish I’d had.”
Not a generic template pack. A practical system designed to show you what to evidence, how to build it, and exactly what document to use.
Built for the people who actually sit the inspection.
“It found four gaps we would have missed.”
“The checklist alone found four things we’d have been caught on. Having the template right there for each one is what makes it different.”
“We turned it into our action plan.”
“We used the RAG checklist as our action plan for the quarter. It’s straightforward, and genuinely written for supported living rather than adapted from something else.”
“This is an actual system.”
“I’ve bought compliance packs before that were just Word files. This is an actual system — the guides explain the ‘why’, which is exactly what my team needed.”
Before you buy
Is this affiliated with or approved by CQC?
No. InspectionPass is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by or connected to the Care Quality Commission. The toolkits are built around CQC’s published assessment framework, but they are our own work.
What format are the files?
Fillable PDF and Excel. The checklist and templates can be completed digitally in any free PDF reader, or printed and filled in by hand. Logs and registers are also provided as Excel files so they can grow, sort and filter as you use them.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes — your licence covers use within your own service or organisation, including printing copies for staff. You may not resell or redistribute it. If you operate multiple locations under one organisation, get in touch before purchase and we’ll sort out the right licence.
Will it guarantee a Good rating?
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Your rating depends on your actual practice, not your paperwork. What this does is make sure you can evidence what you’re already doing, and show you clearly where the gaps are.
Guidance changes — what happens then?
Every document is version-stamped and dated, and areas that carry legal weight beyond CQC — fire safety, mental capacity, deprivation of liberty, tenancy, data protection — are flagged clearly so you know to check them against current guidance. The toolkit tells you where to verify rather than pretending nothing moves.
Can I get a refund?
Because these are instant digital downloads, the standard 14-day cancellation right ends once your download begins — you’ll confirm this at checkout. If a file is faulty or won’t open, contact us within 14 days and we’ll fix or resend it. If you’re unhappy for another reason, get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
